This Privacy Policy explains how I, Pete Christianson (“I,” “me,” or “my”), collect, use, and protect your information when you use my mobile applications (“Apps”) and website (“Site”).
By continuing to use my Apps, you agree to this Privacy Policy. I may update it occasionally. Any changes will also be posted on petechristianson.com/privacy and in the embedded privacy policy of each app. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Most of my apps work without accounts or logins. You don’t need to share personal information to use them.
If you contact me for support, depending on how you contact me, I may collect your email address and any details you include so I can reply. I don’t sell or share this information.

My Apps may contain links to external websites or services. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and I have no control over their business practices.

I use analytical services and other tools (such as Google Analytics) on my site that enables me to collect IP address, other identifiers, usage data relating to my Services, as well as device information. Based on this data, I may create statistics to provide better services to my customers and to further develop my services. This data is not personalized and only accessible in an aggregated form. I treat this information as non-personal data.

Advertising
Free apps may show ads provided by Google AdMob. They typically collect and use the following:
- Identifier for Advertising (IDFA/GAID): A unique identifier used to deliver personalized advertisements
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app usage patterns
- Ad interaction data: Whether you view or click on advertisements
Ad Tracking
You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Toggle off “Personalized Ads”
- iAndroid: Settings > Privacy > Ads > Toggle on “Opt out of Ads Personalization” (or “Delete advertising ID” on newer Android versions)
App Permissions
Some apps may request permissions to function correctly, such as:
- Network access: To download app data, load ads, or send crash reports
- Notification access: To send you alerts, reminders, or relevant updates
- Storage access: To save settings, content, favorites, or progress
- Apple Music access: To personalize music recommendations using Apple’s MusicKit framework
Permissions can be managed in your device settings at any time.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use my Apps, I may collect certain information:
- Crash Reports: Technical information when an app crashes to help find bugs
- Performance Data: How the app performs on a device to optimize future updates
- Feature Usage: Which parts of the app are used the most to guide new development
This information helps me improve app performance and user experience.
How I Use Your Information

- Generate music recommendations (MusicBud only): Analyze your Apple Music data to suggest personalized music recommendations
I do not use your information for any other purposes without your explicit consent.
Data Security
I use standard security measures and trusted third-party tools (like Google Firebase) to store anonymized app data. No sensitive or personal data is ever stored or sold.
Data Retention
- Analytics Data: I keep anonymous usage data to track long-term trends
- Support Communications: I retain support emails to provide follow-up assistance
- Crash Reports: Technical crash data is kept for up to 6 months while I work on fixes
- Local Game Data: Game progress and settings are stored on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app
- Music Recommendation Data: Stored locally on your device and can be deleted anytime through app settings
What I Don’t Do
To be completely clear about my practices:
- I don’t sell personal or usage data to anyone, ever
- I don’t require accounts – you can use all my apps without signing up for anything
- I don’t access your personal files – only app-specific storage used
- I don’t track you across other apps – tracking is limited to my own games
- I don’t store payment information – all purchases go through Apple or Google’s official app stores
- I don’t store your Apple Music login credentials – authentication is handled directly by Apple
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or delete your data
- Restrict how your data is used
- Withdraw consent for data collection

Children’s Privacy
My apps are not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If I become aware of such data, I’ll delete it promptly.
